“By the term standard provisions, please note that on each vessel we ensure that the necessary quantities of all products required for breakfast, snacks, lunch, and dinner are provided. The standard provisions have been calculated in such a way that the crew can manage the quantities properly, ensuring sufficient food and products until the last day of the trip. However, it is common that sometimes crews may prefer certain products more than others, which may result in some items (e.g. eggs, yogurt, fruit, etc.) running out earlier, while other products remain unused and are returned. In such cases, we would like to clarify that each crew is solely responsible for deciding whether to refill any of the provisioned products, and any additional cost for such refills is to be covered by the crew.”

Sailing And Onboard Living
Experience living on a sailing boat for a week! Living on a sailing boat is not about luxury, although it is an absolute privilege. You will visit new places, have access to many secluded beaches and restaurants that are not reachable by land. While sailing you can relax and enjoy your alone time or get social and chat with the other participants of the group. The daily stops on land offer you the opportunity to visit a different island, taste traditional dishes, discover local delicacies and go on a tour of new cities or villages.
On the other hand, you will learn that living on a boat is very different from living inland. The vessel is a small space and every participant is an essential part of the crew. Participants' collaboration with all team members is vital. Every participant as well as the captain/skipper and the instructor will be in charge of all duties on the boat.
It is very likely to be asked - by the captain - to help him with the sails, the ropes, and assist in some manoeuvres when anchoring or when arriving at the port. Participants are kindly requested to assist with meal preparation, setting up the table for meals and cleaning the dishes.
Be mindful of the group and keep the boat tidy.

Teamwork is fun! Enjoy the bonding and the connection you create with the rest of the group.

Walking along its narrow streets, keep an eye out for the house of the poet Nikos Kavvadias, with the inscription proclaiming that this is where he spent his childhood summers. Take care to bump or not to bump into the odd Hollywood icon (all depending on how star-struck you’re feeling), a frequent occurrence in the summer, as Fiscardo is a favourite amongst celebrities from all over the world.
