Petros Kourtis
Founder - Art director
Petros Kourtis is convinced that the core of healthy and happy people resides in the wellbeing of their body, mind and soul. Founder and Art Director of the Artventure Productions, Artventure Camp, Sail Your Senses and Danseas and Co-founder of the art center “Playground for the Arts”. Four times awarded for his Project ARTVENTURE CAMP in Experiential Tourism (Greek Tourism Awards 2019 - 2020) . Artist - Qualified and experienced Skipper - Expert in Outdoor Activities and Human Connection games.

After decades as an Artist and Musician, a major milestone in Petros' career has been his collaboration with Dimitris Papaioannou for the 2004 Athens Olympic Games Opening Ceremony, where he recorded with his percussions most of the musical themes of the event.
​
Born on the island of Lefkada (Ionian Islands , Greece) and knowing very well the treasures of the island, he combines in a “magical way” his love for Music, Sea, Nature, Education and Wellbeing. He organise sailing trips and sailing camps in Greece to share his love about his homeland, Sea, Art and Music.
​
He leads artistic and educational activities successfully held each year since 2012 at the Artventure Camp and MEDITERRANEAN Percussion LAB.
​
Petros has worked with international artists such as Loorena McKenit, Al De Meola, Omar Farouk Tekbilek, Dulce Pontes, Eddy Napoli, Mira Anwar Awad, Sezen Aksu.

Irene Lamprou
Dance Instructor - Choreographer
She began with classical ballet and continued it until the age of 18 when she entered the School of Physical Education and Sports Science in the University of Athens.
​
She worked in some of the biggest gyms in Athens since 2003, teaching aerobics, dance, spinning, ta e bo, pilates, all of them being dynamic programmes in which she is certified. She travelled to New York for hip hop lessons and she often went to Paris for training in the Juste-Debout School, one of the biggest professional street dance schools all over the world. She has worked as a choreographer in dance and theatre performances as well.

For the last ten years, she has been teaching yoga to adults and kids after having been instructed by Alessandro Ortona.
​
In 2006 she won the first place, having been chosen by the choreographer of Madonna, Eddie Morales, in a free style dance competition organized by NIKE in Athens. After that, she represented Greece in the European competition in the Netherlands as a NIKE woman, where, with Sofia Boutela among the judges, she was one of the finalists.
​
She is a coordinator of seminars on the E.RAIN method, which she herself has inspired and combines movement, dance, theatre, music, voice and yoga. Moreover, she has worked on alternative-energy therapies: Reiki (3rd degree), Aura Soma, Reconnection, Crystal Therapy, Theta Healing.

Nikos Moutselos
Dance Instructor - Musician
Nikos Moutselos was born in Larissa in 1976 and lives in Volos.
With over 30 years of experience in Greek traditional dance and music, he combines deep knowledge, passion, and authentic expression in everything he does.
​
A graduate with honors from the Department of Physical Education and Sport Science at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Nikos specialized in Greek Traditional Dance while also dedicating himself to traditional music. He holds diplomas in Byzantine Music, Traditional Clarinet, and Traditional Percussion, and is widely recognized for his contribution to the revival and teaching of the gaida (Greek bagpipe).
​
He has participated in numerous concerts, festivals, seminars, and cultural events in Greece and abroad, and has contributed to important recordings and television productions. Since 2025, he serves as a permanent Clarinet teacher at the Music School of Ioannina.
​
During our Ionian sailing journey, Nikos will share his love for Greek dance and music, guiding us through rhythms, melodies, and traditions that connect sea, land, and people — creating unforgettable moments on board and ashore.

Evangelos Tzemis
Dance Instructor - Musician
Evangelos Tzemis, is a member of Artisstep, a trio that has travelled extensively around the world for dance performances and workshops. In 2019 Artisstep travelled in France for a six-month tour and 80 performances in total.
He has also been a member of El.ke.la.m. Dance Ensemble since 1996, through which he had the chance to come into contact with the performance art.
​
During his MSc studies in Copenhagen he has been a member of Crihalma dance ensemble, a group of talented Danish people, who are passionate in Balkan dances and choreographies. Vervatidis Padelis and C.H.E.F. in Geneva was his next stop, during his working period at CERN. For a whole year, he was a member of the group, instructing and arranging the choreographies on a regular basis.
​
As a Dance Instructor, he shares a model of incremental movement learning, with which even really amateurs can learn and adapt fast to demanding dances and performance environments. He has taught in various seminars around Europe during the last few years. Finally, he studies Contemporary and Ballet, realising their significant role in controlling your body and expressing your feelings.
​
During the last years he has been teaching a course called ‘Modern Folk dances’ and Baille de Barrio professional dance studio. Meanwhile, he has acquired education in audio production, and has his own professional studio (Acoustic Vibe Studios). He plays the lute (Cretan & Mainland) having taken part in plenty of performances around the world and having followed seminars from many distinguished artists.

Petros Mitsou
Dance Instructor - Musician
Petros from a very young age, he studied Music and Greek Traditional Dance.
He continued his studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Faculty of Law, Economics, and Political Sciences), specializing in International and European Studies. He then pursued a Master’s degree in the Department of Musicology at the University of Athens, with a focus on Ethnomusicology and Cultural Anthropology.
He has studied traditional wind instruments (gaida, tsampouna, askomandoura, kaval, zourna) under renowned teachers both in Greece and abroad. His primary mentor is the internationally acclaimed gaida professor and director of the State Orchestra of Sofia, Ivan Kostov.
He teaches Greek traditional dance, traditional wind instruments, string instruments (mandolin, guitar), and traditional singing. He is also the Artistic Director and Conductor of the mixed four-part choir and the mandolinata of the Lyceum of Greek Women of Athens, the Lefkadians’ Association of Ilioupoli, the Choir of the Union of Roumeliotes of Nea Ionia, the Union of the Ionian Islands of Greece, as well as other musical ensembles.
His core belief is that a love for art, creativity, and Greek tradition serves as a foundation for better understanding our roots—and, by extension, ourselves.
For him, dance and music embody ethos, passion, discipline, culture, education, and ultimately, a way of life.
As a representative of the new generation of researchers, dance instructors, musicians, and artists dedicated to Greek tradition, he works with deep respect and devotion to preserve and promote it.

Alexios Tzemis
Dance Instructor - Musician
Alexios Tzemis was born in Athens, Greece. is a member of Artisstep, a trio that has travelled extensively around the world for dance performances and workshops.
He started dancing at the age of five and he did his first dancing steps at the Hellenic Center of Folklore Studies (EL.KE.LA.M.). He also studied Economics at the Athens University of Economics and Business (Greece) and has acquired a Masters degree in Finance from Tilburg University (The Netherlands).
​
He has participated in numerous performances all over Greece and abroad, taking part in many international dance festivals and competitions and having been awarded (as a group member) with many prizes. Additionally, he has participated and collaborated with many other Greek and non-Greek groups. Furthermore, Alexios Tzemis studies ballet and contemporary dance and has also participated in contemporary dance performances. He has taught Greek dances in Denmark, Greece, France, Switzerland etc.
​
Furthermore, he is working as a professional musician, focusing mainly on Greek traditional music. He plays Gaida (bagpipe), Clarinet and Tsabouna and has participated in many concerts all over the world (Canada, Greece, Denmark, Switzerland, Cyprus, Hungary etc.). He was a member of the music bands of Dimitris Korgialas (Greek pop singer) and Michalis Tzouganakis.

He has recorded in many albums mainly on Greek traditional music productions.

Georgios Antonopoulos
Dance Instructor - Musician
Georgios Antonopoulos was born in Olympia, Greece. is a member of Artisstep, a trio that has travelled extensively around the world for dance performances and workshops.
He started dancing from a very young age, and has been a part of various greek dance groups. With EL.KE.LA.M he participated in numerous festivals around the world, acquiring numerous prizes, studied traditional greek dances and took part in educational seminar and conferences. At the same time, he graduated from the national conservatory of Athens. Later in Paris he studied classical ballet and modern dance.
​
He worked for more than 10 years, as a professional dancer at Duna Art Ensemble, where he mastered the art of Hungarian folk dance and got familiar with a wide range of dance styles from the Carpathian Basin. At the same time, he transferred his knowledge of Greek dances to the members of the Ensemble. He also participated in contemporary dance productions and he is also involved in balkan, contemporary and theatrical dance.

He has taught greek dances in the Hungarian state dance academy, Hungarian and generally balkan dances in several countries of the world such as France, Hungary, Spain, Germany, USA etc.
