What is included in the participation fee?

​

  • A  week-long sailing trip with overnights on board

  • 7 nights / 8 days in shared cabins (or private cabins with extra charge) with a bathroom.

  • Skippers' fee 

  • All Mooring fees

  • Fuel

  • Fresh Water tank refills

  • End Boat Cleaning 

  • All linen (Sheets, pillows+covers, face + bath towels).

  • Provisions  to prepare/cook breakfast and lunch on board, including light snacks and beverages such as nutbars, coffee, tea, juice.

  • Daily Dance Classes with professional instructors.

  • Introductory sailing lesson by an experienced skipper (sailing knowledge is not required)

  • Team bonding activities & games.

Do I need to bring my own sheets and towels?

​

No, we will provide you with  all necessary linen (bed sheets, pillowcases & bathroom towels). You will have to bring your own beach towels.

What about the Vessels?

​

For our Camps we use two yacht types:  Monohulls 46 - 50 Ft & Catamarans 42 - 44Ft. Learn more about our vessels here

Cancellation Policy

What is not included?

​

  • Travel Arrangements

  • Transfer from the Airport to the Port of Lefkada

  • Participants’ personal expenses

  • Dinners in traditional Greek Taverns

  • Soft & Alcoholic Drinks

  • Paddle boards - SUP ( 2 SUPs available with extra charge)

  • Snorkelling equipment ( 3 sets available with extra charge)

  • Whatever not mentioned clearly above.

Do I stay with other people in the same cabin?

​

Yes, during our sailing week you will share a cabin with a participant of the same gender. Most of our participants are solo travellers ending up part of a big group of friends calling them family. Part of the joy at our camp is to meet and connect with different people from all over the world.

When signing up please leave a comment on the last field about your accommodation preference. We appreciate your flexibility if your first choice is not available.

How do I get to Lefkada?

​

That depends on your current location. Danseas Camp sets sail from the Port of Lefkada, at Lefkada Island in Greece. An email with all the necessary information in detail, about how to get to Lefkada will be sent to you after your registration. You can find some information about our base here.

​Is the kitchen onboard equipped?

​

Every yacht has a fully equipped kitchen onboard - including refrigerator, oven, stove, cutlery, crockery and pots/pans.
The kitchen is mainly used for simple breakfast or lunch preparation. 

Do I need to have any experience to join Danseas Camp?

​

You don't need any previous experience in Sailing but it is important to know how to swim. Dance experience is required to attend the camp.

​Cancellation Policy


a. If you wish to cancel your booking you must send us a Notice of  Cancellation in writing by email. Any cancellation will take effect on the day we receive your written instruction.
 
b. If you fail to make payment to us in accordance with this agreement, we may regard this as a cancellation by you.
 
c. If you cancel the booking after the organising team has confirmed receipt of your Registration Form and copy of the deposit payment, you will be liable to pay Danseas (Artventure Productions) a cancellation fee. The nearer the cancellation date is to the departure date, the greater the charge will be. 
    The sums payable are:
    Up to 30 days prior to the departure date: 50% of the agreed amount will be invoiced.     
    From 29 days to 0 days prior to the departure: 100% of the agreed amount will be invoiced.  
 
d. If the camp is cancelled by Danseas (Artventure Productions), the organising team must notify the participant up to 30 days prior to the departure of the trip and fully refund the amount received up to this date.

e. Cancellation of Event for Insufficient Registration.  Danseas (Artventure Productions) may cancel any given Camp no later than thirty (30) days in advance of the Camp embarkation  Date if confirmed registered participants are less than the minimum number of participants required.

Force Majeure
a. A "Force Majeure Event" is defined as one or more of the following causes which renders materialization impossible, impracticable, or unsafe: death, illness of, or injury of Skippers or Instructors key personnel; theft, loss, destruction, or breakdown of equipment owned or leased by the retreat organizer; fire; threat(s) or act(s) of terrorism; riot(s) or other form(s) of civil disorder in, around, or near the venue/area of event materialization; strike, lockout, or other forms of labour difficulties; any act, order, rule, or regulation of any court, government agency, or public authority; act of God; absence of power or other essential services; failure of technical facilities; failure or delay of transportation not within the organizers’ reasonable control; inclement weather; and/or any similar or dissimilar cause beyond  the participant’s or  Danseas (Artventure Productions) reasonable control.
 
b. If a Force Majeure Event occurs, the parties' respective obligations hereunder will be excused fully, without any additional obligation, and each of the parties shall bear its own costs incurred in connection with this  Agreement. Travel and accommodation already booked will also remain your burden and costs for this cannot be claimed back from the Danseas (Artventure Productions).

Can I bring my kids to Danseas Camp?

​

We do accept children from 10 to 17 years old under parental supervision. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept children under 10 at Danseas Camp.
